Bambino by Looks Generous

We are proud to have played a part in this stunning project, where our fabrics contribute to an immersive and dynamic experience that transports visitors to a dreamlike escape from the everyday world.

Saigon's newest hospitality hotspot 'Bambino,' a concept brought to life by Melbourne-based design studio Looks Generous. Bambino immerses visitors in a sensory experience, drawing on the vibrant and highly designed brilliance of the eighties. The atmosphere is enhanced by our fabrics Acapulco in Tobacco and Terracotta and evokes a nostalgic flair.

Within its 476-square-meter space, Looks Generous has meticulously crafted an environment where every corner is imbued with intention.

The aluminum waffle ceiling perfectly encapsulates the fusion of eighties Italo-Disco and the cultural vibrancy of Ho Chi Minh City. This design element, inspired by DJ Baldelli’s iconic 'Cosmic' nightclub on the shores of Lake Garda, beautifully ties together the old-world charm and modern elegance, a synergy accentuated by Warwick Fabrics' high-quality materials.

The custom-designed furniture and repeated shapes throughout Bambino highlight the influence of mid-century architect Carlo Scarpa. Looks Generous embraces detailed and thoughtful design while avoiding excessive ornamentation. The design journey starts with a red-dirt dyed concrete bar and continues through crimson carpet, moving along a warm color palette featuring ochre-tinted glass, bronze mirrors, and stained oak panels. This palette is complemented by soft flax linen wallpaper and cool brushed stainless steel partitions, which separate the areas for drinking, dining, and dancing.

We are proud to have played a part in this stunning project, where our fabrics contribute to an immersive and dynamic experience that transports visitors to a dreamlike escape from the everyday world.
